How to Use the Reset Basket Method:

1. Assemble the Box: Build the acrylic DIY kit using the included triangle brackets, L-brackets, and non-metal hardware.
2. Pre-Cycle the Soil: Fill the basket with approximately 1 litre of active aquarium soil. Submerge the filled basket inside a separate bucket with an airstone and water for roughly three weeks, changing the water every few days until ammonia levels drop to zero.
3. Mount to the Tank: Hang the fully cycled basket onto the rim of your aquarium glass using the adjustable long mounting screws.
4. Swap Seamlessly: When the buffering capability of the soil drops months later, simply lift the basket out, swap out the old soil, and place a newly pre-cycled batch back inside.
